CURRENT NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS AS OF April 1st 2024
Sales of all North County real estate types were down 3% in the first quarter of 2024 from the last quarter of 2023 from but up 7% from the same time a year ago. Properties in escrow (Pending Sales) are up 16% from last month and down 22% from Q1 in 2023.
Active listings on the market are down 9% from the end of last year but also 4% up from the same time last year. However inventories of unsold homes are still down from historic numbers over the last 10 years so that is why home prices in the area are still stable despite lesser sales.
