Northern San Luis Obispo County 2022 Statistics……..

This was a very different year in Northern SLO County Real Estate from the last few before it.    Volume of sales dropped throughout the year against 2021 numbers.   In the 4th quarter sales dropped 14% against the 4th quarter of 2021 .   Properties in escrow at the end of the year were down 56%  against the same time in 2021 .

There were 32%  less properties on the market at the end of 22 then there were at the end of 2021 so although the big price increases of 2021 and the first part of 2022 are over,  prices have not gone down as inventory for sale is very low.  .  For the entire year, sales of all property types  dropped 48% against 2021  and the average price of a home rose 3%.
