It was another challenging and also another different year for the North County real estate market in 2024 Although interest rates dropped a little from 2023, buyers did not react to them by increased purchases .
1) Sales of all North County real estate types were down 4 % in 2024 from 2023 . However that is a long way from the drop of 20% in 2023 from 2022.
2) Active listings on the market are up 22% from the end of 2023.
4) The median price of a home on less than 10 acres in the North county is up 5% to $740,500 as sellers are not rushing to put their properties on the market.
